  Rise An anti fascist doctrine By: Alfred C. Key IV In order to understand the nature of what it means to be an Anti fascist we must first understand fascism. The roots of which reside in the doctrines of imperialism for both fascism and imperialism use the modes of blood and soil, the proclamation of the other, and the individual being owned by the state. Throughout human history with the growth of the imperial process and its decline through the ages what is seen is the implementation of the said three modes. In the oldest of empires the enemy of the state was usually the ones that were the hardest to conquer or posed an ideological threat to the empire. In the roman empire the ideological enemy changed over time whether it was the celts, the germanic tribes, or the christians. The othering process was to make the said people group either inferior or somehow a monstrous giant of ideological evil.
